A freight forwarder is a mediator in the transportation industry. A freight forwarder is also called freight broker, Shipping agent, forwarding agent, Customs broker agent, Air cargo agent, International Movers or Non-vessel operating common carrier. 

What does Freight Forwarder do?

Freight forwarder's work in a range of areas and responsibilities from shipping documentation, customs clearance, location transportation, Warehousing, Packaging, Freight Negotiation with Airline & Shipping companies etc. 

Shipping Documentation 

 it's important to know the required documents when you transport the goods or consignment to a foreign land. commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, shippers letter of declaration and bill of lading or airway bill are the important documents to be prepared along with the shipment.

 Local Transportation 

 A freight forwarder must have the capability to transport the good locally. Freight forwarder assists to pick the cargo from your warehouse to forwarder warehouse or to customs bonded location to complete the customs formalities and prepare the good to ship.

Warehousing

 The forwarder assists the customer on how to properly do package the products for exports.It is very important to do the proper labeling and packing especially for hazardous cargo and special care cargoes.

  • Warehousing Facility

  • Hazard Cargo (DG Cargo) handling certification 
  • Facility to handle perishable cargo
